Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding

Our friends Katey and Matt and their son, Landon are coming over for dinner tomorrow night. This is going to be our dessert. This is a no bake and easy recipie that I learned from my husband's side of the family. I love the way this looks and tastes. Try it!

Ingridients:

2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen Cookies
6-8 bananas sliced
2 small boxes instant french vanilla pudding
1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz container whipped topping thawed

Directions:

Line the bottom of a 19 by 9 dish with one bag of cookies and layer sliced bananas on top.

In a bowl combine milk and pudding mix and blend well using handheld electric mixer.

Using another bowl, combine cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold whipped topping into cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and then cover the top with the remaining cookies.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

* I always prepare this dessert the night before I am going to serve it. This will soften the cookies up which I think makes it better.
