Williamsburg

First ferry ride!
This past weekend we had Logan's great grandparents in town for a visit. We had a good time with them! Logan was able to go on his first ferry ride! We headed into Williamsburg to do some shopping and eating. The trees were at it's peak with all the fall colors! It was simply beautiful. We knew mommom Arlene would LOVE the Yankee Candle store in Williamsburg. We headed there first. This place is HUGE and you could spend hours in there! There is one room that is all decorated in Christmas stuff. Tall Christmas trees, a bridge you can walk on, carolers, a star-lit ceiling, and SNOW that falls periodically from the ceiling. It really puts you in the Christmas spirit. As we were leaving the Yankee store we spotted a little pumpkin patch. We had to take advantage of a photo opportunity! We also went to Downtown Williamsburg which is just a stones throw from William and Mary University. We went into several shops and of course the candy store. We also ate dinner at Captain George's. Mommom Arlene was beside herself because they had soft crabs on the buffet! : ) It was SO good. What a nice weekend!

Downtown Williamsburg, VA.

I would also like to mention that yesterday Logan learned something new. I asked him what a snake says....he then says...Ssssssss....It is so cute! I love it. He can almost say chicken, duck, stop, and yea. He is growing so quick!
