Sneak Peak

Here are a few pictures of my sister's maternity session that we had last weekend. It was hard capturing images with my niece, Grace. She is busy! busy! We managed to get a few. I think the pictures came out beautifully. Their son is due September 10th! More to come soon! Heather...you know I enjoyed doing this! Thanks so much! You all were easy and fun to photograph.

Wiggle Worm

I tried to get a picture of Logan Michael in his pool. However, I only managed to get a shot of his foot and ducky. I still thought this was a cute picture. He moves so quick now!

Here is a picture of my friend, Danielle and her bridesmaids, minus one. We were having D's makeup lady do a run through on us. What fun! Her big day is quickly approaching!

We hung out with our friends, Katey and Matt last night. Their son, Landon is around Logan's age. These two guys are so cute playing with each other. Both have sweet spirits and really play very well together. Thanks Katey and Matt for such a nice dinner and evening!

My sister, brother-in-law, and my niece came down this past weekend. Saturday was the hottest day of the year and where were we????......OUTSIDE! We took off to Williamsburg for the day to take the kids to Water Country USA! The park was VERY BUSY and everyone was scrambling for a patch of shade. We were very blessed to have scored a perfect spot in the shade right by the pool. We all had a blast. My sister is almost 9 months pregnant with Gavin. I was also able to get some great maternity shots of her tummy this weekend too. I have been having download issues with my other camera. Hopefully I will get them posted soon. They are so good! We had a great weekend. It went by so fast as usual.

Just a few quick pictures from today. Sorry they are not the best quality. I took them with my camera on my cell phone and we all know how unclear pictures can turn out on them sometimes. Jack's vacation officially started today! So excited to spend time with my boys!

September is quickly approaching. Logan will be one VERY soon. I can not help but think back about Logan's very first few days of his precious life. I also keep thinking back over the last 10 months of his life. Jack and I are very blessed.

10 months

Logan turned 10 months old on July 10th, 2010. I took his picture on the 10th and had every intention to download and post on a blog. However, I have been having problems downloading my pictures to my computer. I am pretty sure the problem is where Logan has been chewing on my download adapter. Hopefully I will get it working soon! I had to take a picture of this picture with my camera phone to be able to share it with you. I am so sorry it is kind of blurred.

~Sleeping in his crib but wakes up at 12 or 3 am on the dot crying for mommy!

~Loves his sock monkey, barn, books, teething rings, & Diego rescue truck.

~Loves to snack on Sweet Potato and Banana Puffs and feeding them to himself!

~Chewing on tags and cords.

~Climbing up an entire flight of stairs all by himself! (With mommy right behind him, of course!)

~Loves taking baths and playing with his sea creature bath toys...(chewing them too!)

~Still has to have his paci.

~Almost ready to take off walking.

~Really dislikes getting his diaper changed.

~Plays fetch with our bichon, Tobey.

Oh ....the list could go on and on but I'll spare you! We have one busy little boy on our hands. He has such a sweet spirit and we just love him more than life itself!

Military Husband

She packs. She moves. She follows. Why? What for? How come? You may think she's lost her mind. Actually, she's lost her heart. It was stolen from her by a man. A man who puts duty first, who longs to deploy, who salutes the flag, and whose boots in the doorway remind her that as long as he is her Military Husband....she will remain his Military Wife.

I walked into Logan's room and found him working on his barn just as hard as he could. He really got into it and I thought it was so cute.

4th food

Doesn't this look good? Jack deep fried soft crabs on the 4th of July. I'm lucky I have an island boy husband that loves his seafood and knows how to cook it! Also included was fresh corn on the cob and homemade french fries.

Wow! I can not believe how fast Logan is growing. This morning Logan was playing in the living room and I was around the corner in another room. I heard him laughing so hard so I peeked around the corner to see what was up. He had climbed the first step up our staircase. He really thought he had done something. If there had not been a gate on the next step he would have climed up the entire staircase. I wanted to see how far he could go so I moved the gate and let him go for it. He climbed to the top!
