Chuckatuck, Virginia's best kept secret! I took Logan to this beautiful park today. It was gorgeous outside so I thought spending some time there today would be just what we needed. It felt good to get out of the house for a while. Jack and I have been coming to Lone Star since we first moved here a few years ago. There are not a lot of people that know about this place so when you go it makes you feel like the park is all yours! There is a bunch of beautiful lakes and piers, places to have picnics and recreation, a little playground for kids, you can go fishing, archery, hiking, boating...you name it! We missed Jack today..he has been very busy with work. Last week he had to fly to Conneticut to complete a training and this weekend he is in North Carolina underway with his crew. Bless his heart he has been working so hard. However, he will be home tomorrow and off on Tuesday! Logan goes to the pediatrician Tuesday for a round of shots. Keep him in your prayers! He also will turn two months old this Tuesday! Hard to believe how fast time is going by!
