milestones

Logan "walking" with Mommy's help...
I'm standing, Mommy!
My pearly whites!
I was cleaning baby bottles this afternoon and Logan was playing in the other room. Logan loves to play with our maltese's cage for some reason. He has been doing that for a while now. However, today he pulled himself up from a sitting position into a standing position while holding onto the cage. I was so proud of him. I knew it was coming soon though. He has been making me hold his hands and balance him so he can walk and that has been pretty cute too. He laughs so hard while he is walking. He really thinks he is doing something. I also would like to add that Logan in the past month has gotten in two teeth! It was a challenge for me to get a picture of those little pearly whites but I somehow managed. I did this in between his meal so excuse the peas on his nose. haha I love you Logan! Mommy is super proud!

Father's Day Weekend

Pushing Logan to the monument.L & J standing in front of the Wright Brother's Monument in OBX
This captures Logan & Jack's personality SO muchI hope everyones Father's Day weekend kicks off to a good start. I know for some this day is bittersweet. My thoughts and prayers to those who find it tough to deal with this day. Always keep your memories close to your heart! This year we will be celebrating Jack's FIRST Father's Day! We are not sure what we are going to be doing yet. However, you can bet I will keep you posted with a blog later on! :) Jack is an amazing father. He and Logan share a special bond. I can see how much Jack loves Logan just by the look in his eye when he looks at his son. He is one proud poppa! Words can not describe how much joy my heart feels when I see them two together. They are my world and I love them to the moon and back. I can tell that Logan thinks his daddy is great and it is just too much cuteness for me to stand! Logan and Jack not only look like they could be twins but they both have beautiful hearts. I have two special guys on my hands and I am very blessed for that. : )

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to my dad, Michael aka Pop-de-dop! I love you more than words can say. I am so thankful for everything you have always done for me. The sacrifices you have made have never gone unnoticed. I have just learned to understand and appreciate it more as I have gotten older. Thank you for all your love in your quiet way. I also would like to wish my Father-in-law, Jack, my brother-in-laws Doug & Eric and my cousins Brandon, Dustin & Phil a Happy Father's Day too! The list could go on and on....so I will stop here. Have a great weekend.
* The pictures I posted on this blog were from our vacation in the Outer Banks.

Rescue Truck

Here is Logan riding his Rescue Truck. I love this little toy. It says cute things like..."Hola it's me Diego...and "I think an animal's in trouble..let's zoom to the rescue in my rescue truck...let's drive!" It's so cute and I am such a dork. : )

Like father...like son

I am telling you...it is like a chip off the old block. Logan and Jack look so much alike and they both have such beautiful hearts. I am blessed to be Jack's wife and Logan's Mommy. (Another picture from OBX.)

OBX memories

Watching the sun rise from the house. Perfect view!

I loved this sunrise.

Love writing Logan's name in the sand...

It doesn't get much better than this...I love my family.

new word

saying "ba ba"

I don't know if I would call it a word but Logan started saying something other than da da. Finally! He said "ba ba" this morning. He sounds like a little sheep. It is so cute.... but I think everything he does is cute, of course! I tried to get him to say ma ma but he wouldn't do it for me. He mouthed it with his lips but nothing came out. I think he is getting sooo close to saying it though! : ) I can not wait!

Logan's 1st Vacation

The ocean was an incredible sea green color...it was so clear! My little cowboy.
Paradise!
Chillin at the beach house.
Logan checking out the tractor at Morris Farm Market.
Lots of good fruit and old cars and tractors!

The beach wiped him out.
Look close...see the water spout?
First time his little piggies touched the ocean.
My little beach baby.

Jack, Logan, and I vacationed in the Outer Banks this past week. It went by way too fast! I was pleasantly surprised how well Logan did on the beach. He slept most of the time because I think the sun wore him out! Bless his heart he was such a good sport. Jack and I were able to relax on the beach while little man slept so content under the umbrella. One highlight of one of our beach days was a water spout! I have included a picture of it on this post. More pictures to be posted ASAP!
