3 Months Old....

My little Christmas angel has turned 3 months old today. We went out Christmas shopping again today and he slept through the whole thing! Here are a few pictures of him on his 3 month birthday! Logan in a nutshell....He still loves his paci although he has now found his thumb. I think it will replace paci here shortly...we'll see! I catch him smiling at me even when I am looking away from him. I guess he thinks I'm great...for now anyway. : ) He thinks our puppies are funny..especially Skyler. He loves to eat just like his Daddy...If you put him in front of the tv he would watch it all day..(we got to be careful with that)...He despises tummy time and I cave in and do not make him do it for long because it breaks my heart to see him cry...his favorite time to "talk" is around 4-5 am in the morning...he has two little dimples on his cheeks that will make your heart melt... I could go on all day..looking forward to learning more about my little fellow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

The most wonderful day of the year is drawing closer and closer! What a special time this year...our first Christmas with Logan! It is the best and I am loving every minute of it. Logan has been a good shopping buddy. He is as good as gold as I am going from store to store in the mall trying to find the perfect gifts! Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Dismal Swamp State Park

We took Logan to the Dismal Swamp State Park yesterday. As aweful as it sounds...it was actually quite pretty there. We took a long walk down a trail and enjoyed being outside in the nature. We stopped along the way to get a few pictures on a bench near the water. It was a beautiful fall day! Logan's Ho Ho hat was a big hit!

Logan's First Thanksgiving...

My family and I hope everyone had a nice Turkey Day! Jack and I hosted Thanksgiving this year at our house in Virginia. Jack and I got up early to have our coffee and to starting preparing for our marvelous feast. I turned on the Macy's Day Parade and enjoyed my morning with Jack and my favorite little person. My parents joined us for the Thanksgiving this year. It is hard living away from family especially during the holidays. However, we are always keeping them close in our hearts. Jack cooked the most juicy turkey I have ever tasted and I helped cook this year too. Ham, mac and cheese, stuffing, mashed taters, baked pumpkin, cornbread...all the trimmings! It was a beautiful relaxing day and Logan's mommom and poppop enjoyed their time with him. God has blessed me with a good man and a healthy and beautiful baby boy and for this I am eternally thankful.

We are not going to be able to be together for Thanksgiving this year so my sister brought her family down for a visit this weekend. We had a big time with our niece in town. Logan thinks Gracie is so funny. I kept catching Logan smiling ear to ear at his big cousin. She adores Logan as well. She kept wanting to hold Logan's hand and give him kisses on his cheek. When Logan would cry she would say..."It's ok baby." They are so cute to watch together. They even got a bath together and Grace showed Logan how to swim. We went to the park and had a big time there on the slides and playing in the leaves. Heather, Gracie, and I had girlie time baking cookies while the boys hung out and had their guy time too! We even made a big trip to the mall to get their picture with Santa. Logan slept right through the whole thing. Grace was a little uneasy around Santa so her mommy and I jumped in the picture with the babies. It was a fun and relaxing weekend!
