First time at church....

My handsome guys dressed up for church...
1st Baptist in the background...
Inside the Nursery Suite...
We took Logan to church for the 1st time 2-28-10. We have been wanting to take him for a while. However, I just wanted him to get a little bigger. I was nervous about leaving him with someone I did not know for the 1st time. As soon as we walked in we dropped him off in the nursery suite. He was the first baby there and a nice lady was working the nursery. My friend Amy was supposed to be helping that day too but she ended up not being there that day. I waved goodbye to Logan and he just stared at me and his daddy walk away. It about broke my heart. I surprised myself though about how I did not cry leaving him there. It was a nice service and I did not get up one time to check on him. I just knew deep down he was in good hands. Towards the end of the service I looked at Jack and whispered, " I miss my baby. " I really did! When church was over Jack and I went to the nursery to pick up Logan. There was someone new in there and she was rocking my baby away in the chair. She did not want to give him back to me...she was in love with him! : ) They told me he did great and he took a little cat nap. The rest of the time he was up and looking around. I was so proud of my baby boy!

The Vet...

Tobey is ready for his check-up...

Skyler less than thrilled about getting his shots...
Logan went with Jack & I to the vet the other day. It was time for Tobey and Skyler's annuals. Both pups checked out great. The vet said that Skyler seems to be doing wonderful post surgery. We are super happy about that. Logan was a good boy. I love how we can take him almost anywhere and he just hangs out or falls asleep. He stayed awake the entire time until the vet walked through the door. A quick funny story....I always give the puppys baths before taking them to the vet. So right before we took them I of course gave them a good bath. The vet walked into the room and she looks at Skyler and said, "Someone must have washed you in hot water." Right away I get panicky and I look at Jack....(He just smiles and rolls his eyes because he knew I didn't get it..) : ) I finally ask the vet..."Oh did I wash him in too hot of water?" I really thought she saw burn marks or something on him. hahaha...I know everyone probally gets what she meant but I really didn't. The punch to what she said was that he was so tiny. : )

My baby....

Logan & I hung out in his room today for a while. He is really starting to enjoy his toys. It is so fun to watch him have fun. He thought his basketball toy was so funny. He would not stop laughing at it. I could not stop laughing at him! I love this little boy!

Baby Donaldson # 2 ....

I really did try hard to hold your signs Aunt Heather....The signs say it all...

Logan hanging out in his nursery after we finished this for you...he was thinking..."That was hard work but my Auntie is worth it!"
Congratulations are in order for my sister and her family. They are expecting their second child! Baby-to-be is due as of right now on 9-10-10...Logan's Birthday! There is no greater birthday present than a brand new cousin! Logan tried so hard to hold these signs for you Aunt Heather. He really just wanted to eat them. Heather, Doug, & Grace Marie....We love you three so much! We are so very excited for you! May God bless you and your expanding family!

Sour Cream & Onion Mashed Taters...

This tastes just like chips out of the bag. Boil red skin taters, mash them together with sour cream, and green onions, salt, pepper and butter. This will get your taste buds rolling!

Jack - The Birthday Boy!

I wanted to wish my baby a Happy Birthday! He turned 29 years old today. Wow! The years go by so fast. I love you Jack and looking forward to celebrating many more years of your life with you! Thank you for all you do to support your son and I. You have made such a beautiful life for us. I am so blessed that God had us cross paths many years ago. When God made you he must have been thinking of me. I will always believe that and I believe in you! Logan and I love you with our whole hearts. The picture above is the two people who love you the most in all the world..little Jack and yours truly.

RIP Eric...

I just learned today that a classmate of mine from high school passed away yesterday. His name is Eric. In the picture above is Eric and his sister, Beth. I borrowed this picture from Beth's facebook page. I did not have any recent pictures of him...so thank you Beth! My heart aches for Eric's family. This is such a tremendous loss for them! My thoughts and prayers are with this family as they try to heal through this difficult time. I will always remember his smile, laughter, and his bright red hair. He was free-spirited and could always make me smile. He was known as "Red" for obvious reasons. I probally have not seen Eric in almost 10 years...however, he will be missed by his friends and family he has left behind. Memories of him are still very vivid in my mind. Rest in peace my friend.
