Hoppy Easter!

I went to the mall t0day to run some errands with Logan. I did not plan to have Logan's picture taken with the Easter Bunny this year. However, I just couldn't resist! I was surprised Logan did not freak out when I handed him to the bunny. He was so serious in this picture. haha. It was too cute. The photographer took one shot of Logan and I thought it was a keeper. Sorry the picture quality is not so good. I took a picture of the picture with my camera phone. Hoppy Easter blogger friends!

Bean Bag...

Here's my little guy trying out his new bean bag chair from his mommom and poppop. He loves it and I think it is so cute! My mom found it at Target and it has sports balls on it. It is very boyish and a perfect for Logan's room. He is growing so fast right before my eyes! I feel like everytime he wakes up from a nap he gets bigger and bigger. He is such a momma's boy! I am loving that while it lasts too! Someday I'll be kicked to the curb! : ) Can I just say how much I love this baby? He is my life's greatest blessing.

Here are a few pictures I took of Logan for Easter. Jack, Logan & I are headed to the Eastern Shore for Easter next weekend. Therefore, I knew it would be a crunch to post the pictures in between all we had to do next week before Easter. I will post pictures from Easter with our families as soon as we get back home. We are looking forward to celebrating Logan's 1st Easter. Remember my fellow bloggers...chocolate bunnies, snazzy church clothes, and Easter eggs and baskets are great but Jesus is the reason for the season!

Jack and I headed off to the Outer Banks this past weekend for some much needed time alone together. My parents came down for the weekend to wath Logan. It worked out perfect because they were wanting to see the baby something aweful. Jack and I had a perfect time together. The weather could not have been more beautiful! It was in the mid to upper 70's! My most favorite part was climbing Jockey's Ridge. This is mounds and mounds of great big sand dunes. When you climb to the top you have a fabulous view of the ocean, bay, and the surrounding Outer Banks area! We stayed there for about 2 hours an enjoyed soaking up the sun and the excercise. Jack and I had not been to Jockey's Ridge since we first started dating about 6 years ago. So it was nice to reminisce the memories there too. We ate at one of our favorite spots called High Cotton. It is a casual place to go and get some good barbeque. I am telling you I was in heaven once my plate was put in front of me! OMG! We went over to Manteo and went to one of my favorite Christmas shops ever. We even ran into my aunt and uncle while we were there. They were at their beach house working outside in their yard. It was good to see them too! We ate dinner at the Black Pelican and it was great! It was such a nice day and I was so happy to spend it with my honey. At the end of the day I was missing my baby though! I was so glad to get home to him too!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

Checking out a bumble bee...buzzzz...My sweet baby Logan...
Lots of things to see, Mommy!

Just look at those sweet cheeks...I love him so much...

Finally wearing his Nike hat his daddy bought him...

Purple Lady Flowers...(or weeds?) and a dandelion...

A whole bunch of them...
Logan and I took advantage of the fabulous weather today. We played outside for a little while. I pulled him around in his Radio Flyer that his Mommom and Poppop gave him. We sure are loving it! It changes up the pace from using the stroller all the time. I laid a blanket out for Logan on the grass so he could play there in the fresh air. The yard needs cutting but Logan actually liked grabbing for the weeds and tall grass. Boys will be boys I guess. : ) Baby boy is doing exceptional sitting up on his own. He is getting stronger everyday! I feel like he is going to take off and start crawling soon! I thought I would pop a few pictures of the dandelions I talked about in my previous blog. Has anyone ever seen the little purple flowers that bloom around this time of year? Actually. I think it is a weed...but anyway. Does it have a name? I remember my mom showing me them when I was a really little girl. They sprouted everywhere in their yard too. She told me that the little purple flower looks like a lady with a bonnet praying. Use your imagination...you might see it too! I also wanted to share with you some pictures of my little munchkin too from today. He really had a blast playing outside. I can not wait until it warms up a lot more so I can take him to the pool and the beach! So many firsts to look forward to!
